"In the third movement of the Eucharistic liturgy the Spirit illumines 'the eyes of faith’ by a vision of the Lamb of God. Our sinful hearts recognize him and are bathed in his light. Yes, the wedding feast of the Bride and the Lamb is ready and the Spirit draws us to it. See, the Lamb is raised up, he gives us his peace, he is broken but not divided, and he is at last about to give his life to those who will share in his feast." (Jean Corbon, The Wellspring of Worship)

On this feast of Corpus Christi, let us, in receiving our Lord, become and live in Him, whom we have received. We are the Body of Christ! Are we recognized as such?

FYI: I will be away on some vacation, attending the ordination of some good friends. My friend Tim Klosterman will be ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and Jeff Molner will be ordained for the Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska. Please keep them in your prayers. I will return on June 12th. If you like, you may throw out a prayer for me as well, as I will be praying for all of you.

-Fr. Sean
