From the Pastor
Saturday, April 26, 2008

In this weekend’s Gospel we hear of the sending of another Paraclete. Paraclete is a word which comes from the Greek and signifies a legal advocate, one who speaks for us.

Many of our current Pastoral Council members have been in place for many years now. Some of them are ready to give up their spot and allow others in the parish to be a voice on the council. The Pastoral Council meets about ten times a year and is responsible for advising me on the direction we need to go in our pastoral ministries here in the parish.

If you are interested, please call the office and give your name, so we can contact you and end up putting your name in the hat. We will later draw names, and give some of our brothers and sisters their much deserved break.

 - Fr. Sean
